The Aegean archaeological site is protected by UNESCO as a World Heritage Site and as a site of exceptional natural beauty. The wider Aegean archaeological site consists of the Polycentric Museum, the Palace, the Asti, the Acropolis and the surrounding area. both in visiting exhibitions, such as the Philip II Basilica or under construction (in the New Building of the Multicenter Museum, in conjunction with the outdoor monument modules (Palace, Royal Timenid Building and the Digital Alexander the Great Museum as well as the digital navigation network in the ancient kingdom of the Macedonians, either created under the NSRF and expected to be accessible to the public at the end of 2015, offer a comprehensive and dynamic view of the ancient of the Macedonian capital and its historical weight (text: Angeliki Kotaridis).
